It generally is good but we found that the center part does not go down far enough in the back. My brother can not stand much and so can not use it properly. It slides up his back when it is trying to lift him. I attached a fabric that extends so it will go under his bottom for support.
Any one who can stand on or have some support in their legs should do fine.
