This didn't fit, so I cannot really comment on the brace. I will say how much i appreciate being able to return this without cost when it didn't fit! This item was discontinued, so I was worried I would be stuck with a very expensive, and useless item. Didn't happen, Amazon stood behind the promise to allow items that need to fit... the opportunity without risk to be sure they do.
